Celebration Time is a gorgeous floribunda shrub rose with a very unusual colouring. It has been described as russet, smoky lavender/orange & red. The blooms contain every shade of red, pink, orange, magenta, and lavender, purple, smoke. Whatever you choose to describe the colour as, it is certainly an interesting floribunda rose. Its colouring means it blends well with any colour and so looks fantastic planted amongst other flowers.
Rosa Celebration Time was bred in America, where it was named ‘Cinco de Mayo’ and voted the All American Rose Selection winner in 2009. It produces masses of colourful blooms in large clusters throughout the season and well into the autumn. The blooms are pretty weather proof and unaffected by rain. Even its healthy, disease resistant foliage is colourful as it starts off red and changes to dark green as it matures.
This floribunda rose makes a perfect gift for a birthday, an anniversary, a wedding, an engagement…for any cause for celebration!
It is an interesting rose for cutting with a pleasantly sweet perfume. A very versatile rose that grows well in a large container or for planting en masse. It’s even been known to be used as a low hedge.
This is a charity rose with a donation from sales made to Chrohn’s and Colitis UK (NACC).
Also a Gold Standard Award Winning Rose, 2011.
