A vigorous multiflora rambler bearing huge sprays of small semi-double, creamy white flowers with brilliant yellow stamens. The large clusters are borne on long, thin, prickly canes, and are full of healthy glossy leaves with coppery edges. Very popular and ideal for growing up through trees where it is a fabulous sight in full bloom.

Although it is only summer flowering it is a memorable event when the large clusters open and the extremely fragrant perfume permeates the garden.
'Bobbie James' was introduced by Graham Thomas, who named it in honour of the renowned Yorkshire horticulturist. An ever-popular variety.
