Hedging roses should be planted between 18 inches and 3 feet apart. The closer together they are planted the sooner the hedge will fill out and the denser it will be. 'Rose de Rescht' is an example of a rose that will quickly form an attractive short and bushy hedge of deep fuchsia red blooms that  have a hint of purple and an intense Damask fragrance.

For a rose that will be covered in blooms the shrub 'Ballerina' is the perfect choice. In full bloom it is flushed with hundreds of small single, shallow cupped pink flowers which repeat flowers in the autumn. If you are looking for a rose with a pleasing light fragrance which offers perfect shaped flowers then you will love the 'Southampton' floribunda rose. As well as making a great medium height hedge it also makes a good rose for a collection of pots too.

For a rose hedge with a difference why not use a couple of different varieties and interplant them for a truly unique hedge that will be filled with colour. View our full collection of hedging roses above and order online for fast UK delivery.
