KING OF THE ROSES
Tom Carruth, known around the world as the King of Roses, and owner of the world-wide rose-growers, Weeks Roses, will be the guest speaker at the meeting of the Mother Lode Rose Society at 1:30 p.m. October 5th at the Amador Senior Center, at New York Ranch Road in Jackson. USA
Carruth has created more all-American roses than any other living hybridizer. He has logged more than nine all-American roses in 10 years.
Carruth is a charismatic speaker, who speaks about each new rose as the love of his life. He will discuss the roses of the future that will be introduced in the coming years. Entry is free, and open to the public.
