TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SALE

All roses sold by the Country Garden Plant Centre are sent out in perfect condition. We cannot be held responsible for any rose that fails through the purchasers negligence or horticultural inexperience. Each rose delivered comes with comprehensive Rose Care Instructions. (Please read carefully) If there is a cultural problem at a later date or the purchaser requires advice or assistance we are only too pleased to help or offer free advice. We unfortunately cannot guarantee that the rose will be in flower at time of delivery.

CARRIAGE & DELIVERY

Every endeavour is made to ensure that your rose arrives in pristine condition and on the correct day. If any rose is damaged in transit this is usually down to a problem with the National Carrier. We will certainly look into each individual case and you will be compensated if deemed necessary. All roses leave our Nursery on the correct day for approximately 24 hour delivery. If any rose arrives late this is nearly always due to a problem with the National Carrier. Damaged roses and late delivery rarely occur. If there is a problem it is usually outside our control but we will do whatever is necessary to correct the situation as soon as possible.

NO DELIVERY SATURDAY OR SUNDAY Orders despatched on Friday will be delivered on Monday

Extra Delivery Charges

In some cases it is not always possible to deliver within approx 24hrs.  Also some addresses may incur a surcharge from our couriers.   Please check the following addresses before ordering.

SCILLY ISLES, ISLE OF MAN, NORTHERN IRELAND, CHANNEL ISLANDS,  ISLE OF WIGHT & SCOTTISH HIGHLANDS. - Delivery - 2-3 working days

All the above will carry a surcharge of £12-50. (Except Scottish Highlands)

Guaranteed Next Day Delivery

Although we endeavour to have all roses delivered within approx 24hrs we cannot guarantee next day delivery.   The only way we can guarantee to have delivery in 24hrs is to subscribe to the Carrier's Guaranteed Next Day Delivery Service which incurs an extra charge of £6.75.

Orders for guaranteed next day delivery must be received by 12 noon.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT OUR "NAME YOUR OWN ROSE SERVICE"

Please Read Carefully
The Country Garden Plant Centre owns the complete rights to the above annual crop of roses. This amounts to around 1000 roses each year. The roses are only available from us as we arrange for a grower to breed and grow the variety specifically for us. Each rose is sold separately and named individually providing the chosen name is not already in use. Please note that there is no formal registry in the UK listing commercial names of rose varieties. However, we use Roses UK as a point of reference. This is a joint venture between the British Association Of Rose Breeders and the British Rose Growers Association. If you are in any doubt over your chosen name, please ask for advice. We check with Roses UK and maintain our own list of names that customers have chosen. This will ensure, as far as reasonably practicable, that you do not choose a name that is already in use. Customers only own the one rose purchased and not the whole crop. A single rose purchase does not entitle you to any further roses from the annual crop unless further roses are purchased individually. A named rose will not be sold or distributed nationally as the chosen name is purely a personal choice. The chosen name will not be formally registered on any listing, and will not appear on our web site or any other website.. If you wish to name a whole crop of roses for national distribution, please ask for details. Please note. As this is an outdoor rose it will be dormant in the winter months and will not have blooms or foliage until the spring.
