Breath of Life
Breath of Life
Year: 1980
Climbing Roses
Height: 10ft

This climber has the unusual colour of apricot skin, becoming apricot pink as the flowers age.
The medium to large size blooms are full petalled and develop like cluster flowered roses, having high centres in the young flowers and becoming cupped with wave petals as they age.
It is a very good rose for flower arrangements as the blooms are long lasting and hold their colour well when cut; old flowers on the plant are best dead headed.
Flowering continues through summer and autumn, and their is a pleasing fragrance.
The growth is stiff and upright, to average height, and if it is to be trained sideways this needs to be done early while the long stems are still pliable.
Does best on a south facing aspect.
Medium green foliage and a good health record.
Britain's Royal College Of Midwives chose the name, which signifies both the Creator Spirit in Genesis and everybody's first vital act on coming into the world.
Highly recommended.
